A CPA firm built exclusively for small business and complex individual scenarios.

Mesa Advisory is a two-partner CPA firm located in OKC. We work with a deliberately small number of business owners and high net worth families to provide an exclusive experience.

Three commitments we make to every owner we work with.

i.

Exclusivity

We are dedicated to a strategically small group of clients. You get real personalized attention — not a ticket in a queue.

ii.

Technology

We help you automate the routine — reconciliations, categorization, filings — so the humans can spend their time on the work that actually moves the needle.

iii.

Consistency

Recurring monthly reviews and quarterly tax planning. No surprise April phone calls. No scrambling at year-end.

You run the business. We’ll run the numbers.

Partner — Lead Tax Compliance Advisor

Twenty years specializing in small-business taxation.   The kind of accountant whose dinner table arguments are about section 179.

Zack graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2006 with B.S. degrees in both accounting and finance. He began in public accounting at Cole & Reed, focusing on taxation in construction, banking, and insurance.

In 2012 he joined Grant Thornton, LP as a tax manager in their Oklahoma City office, working on oil & gas compliance and private wealth tax. He spent the years since at a mid-sized firm specializing in small-business owners and their personal tax pictures — the combination that Mesa was built around.

Out of the office, he’s hiking, fishing, or quietly brewing coffee in one of his (currently four) coffee makers. He, his wife Lindsey — also a tax accountant — and their kids travel and play board games, though the kids would like it noted that the tax talk is relentless.

We work by referral.

Mesa keeps a deliberately small client roster. New engagements come through introductions from the owners, advisors, and partners we already work with — that’s how we keep the work and the relationships at the standard we want.
